TE GUIO PROGRAM

Created as part of the DC Mayor’s Empowering Males of Color initiative, Te Guio provides youth in 9th– 10th grade with a mentor to guide them on the path to graduate high school, enroll in higher education, and transition to a healthy adulthood. Once students complete the Te Guio program, they are transitioned into the Listo program.

This mentoring program focuses on academic and personal goals during the school year through a variety of weekly workshops and events and emphasizes career goals in the summer with the opportunity to work at the LSF in the DC Summer Youth Employment Program.

  •         Increase Professional Development / Career Readiness
