WHAT IS THE ACCESS PROGRAM?
“Access” is a program designed to help parents identify and apply to Pre-K-12th grade independent and parochial schools. It includes: 5 workshops, direct one-on-one assistance in identifying schools; bilingual application and financial aid form assistance; WPPSI and WISC test discounts and application fee waivers (based on household income); and access to a network of over 45 independent and parochial schools.
The information presented in the workshops is an important part of the Access Program and you must attend at least 3 out of 5 of the workshops. Participants are also strongly encouraged to attend the BSF/LSF School Fair in October.
Families that do not meet the workshop attendance requirement or arrive late more than twice to their individual consultations may be removed from the program.
The Access Program provides resources and support for families interested in applying to and attending independent and parochial schools but in no way guarantees acceptance into a school or any financial aid package. The LSF staff will do their best to find the best fit for your child and help you advocate for your child during the entire admissions process.

Testing: Most fee waivers are distributed through the schools you are applying to. The LSF offers limited fee waivers for testing. Contact the school for more information.
